JARDAMH - Just Another Random Day at Maddi's House

"I can't believe it! He's finally agreed to come over to my house! I'm so excited!" Maddi was practically screaming into her cell phone.
"I can tell, but I'm going to hang up if you don't stop yelling. I think you ruptured my eardrum or something…" Chloe sighed. "I just hope you aren't this loud when he comes over. You might scare Roxas away."
Maddi laughed a little before continuing, a little quieter this time. "Sorry! Anyway, I don't know what I should do first! What should I wear? What parts of the house should I clean? Where should I hide my brother?"
Sighing could be heard through the phone again. "…I could come over and help if you want. Besides, who knows? Axel might be following him to make sure you don't eat him or something."
"I won't eat him! …Probably… Fine! Please help me…"
"Awesome. I'll be over in fifteen minutes, okay?" There was no time for Maddi to answer as Chloe hung up.
Maddi quickly got up and began moving all of her brother's stuff upstairs. 'I need to get this done!'

By the time Chloe arrived, Maddi and her little brother, Andrew, were arguing.
"Maddi, quit beating your brother with Legos and get over here." She grabbed onto Maddi's arm and dragged her to the living room. After much protesting from Maddi, she had calmed down enough for them to have a normal conversation. "So, what have you done so far?" Chloe asked.
Maddi pondered for a moment. "Let's see… I cleaned the house… Well, I made my brother clean the house… that's pretty much it. I tried making Andrew stay in the closet, but he said no. That's why we were arguing."
"I see… Well, all I can really think of to do now is get food of some sort." Chloe went into Maddi's mother's room. "Can we get pizza or something?" There was silence for a moment, and Chloe came back to the living room. "Well, we're getting food! All we must do now is wait."

After a while, the doorbell finally rang. Maddi was spazzing and running around in circles as if the zombie apocalypse were upon us. Chloe peeked out the door and said, "Quiet down, it's just the pizza guy."
"But that's just it! What if he never shows up? What if he doesn't like me? What if…" Maddi went on and on as Chloe brought the pizza inside.
"Maddi's modaris, we need money to pay the pepperoni pizza man!" At that, she paid the pizza guy and went back into her room. "Don't get upset, he's not officially late yet."

Finally, after a few minutes of waiting in silence, the doorbell rang once more. Maddi practically flew off the couch and ran to the door. A few seconds later, she ran back and hid in the corner.
"…I'm scared."
Chloe sighed for what seemed like the millionth time and went to the door.
"Noooooooooooooooo~!" Maddi yelled, but she was too late.
"Hello, Roxas~." Chloe said as she pulled the door open. "Lovely day today, isn't it?"
Roxas just stood there for a few seconds before answering. "…Isn't this Maddi's house? Why are you here?"
"Yes it is, and I'm here because I want to be. Is there a problem, officer?"
"…Can I come in?"
Chloe thought for a moment, and then she noticed something in a tree a few feet away. "…I know you're there, Axel. Get your butt out of that tree."
Axel poked his head through the branches. "Dammit… How did you see me?"
"…You're in a tree filled with green leaves. Your hair is bright red. Do the math."
"…Are you going to eat me now or something?"
"No, get your butt in here. You too, Roxas." With that, Chloe ran into the house, the two scared and confused boys following right behind her.
